Caring Community of Learners
In the late 1800s, Una Elementary School started as a one-room schoolhouse. Today, it is one of the largest elementary schools in Nashville and has earned the distinction of being known as a "Caring Community of Learners."
Teachers, staff members, administrators and parents are committed to working together to provide the best education possible for each student. Our small class sizes allow teachers to work one-on-one with students, and a variety of programs, such as Accelerated Reader and Encore help challenge our students to become productive members of society.
Una Elementary is also known for its enriching arts programs. We're a Little Kids Rock school, which gives our students the opportunity to explore their musical talents. In fact, many of our students are being noticed for their excellent musical skills.
Students represent 23 spoken languages, and we believe the diversity of our families, students and staff is another of our greatest strengths.
